Migrant Ally Certificate Program
Focused on understanding the college student experience of non-U.S. citizens and how to be an ally.
Training session(s) include,
Understanding Status: Undocumented in U.S. Higher Education - Legislature surrounding immigration status, financial aid and work authorization and how it connects to higher education policy and practices.
Action Steps in Supporting Undocumented College Students - Inclusive and accessible practices and opportunities higher educational professionals may implement and offer through their role and office/department
Educators who complete both sessions may receive the Migrant Ally Certificate demonstrating one’s proficiency in knowledge surrounding immigration through the context of higher education and capability in applying inclusive practices supporting non-U.S. college students.

Understanding Status: Undocumented in U.S. Higher Education
How did we get here? What are we working with? A broad lens on what it means to be undocumented by going over some of the federal and common higher education policies that impact undocumented students in their educational, professional, and personal aspirations and needs.

Know Your Rights Workshop
Everyone has constitutional rights regardless of their citizenship or immigration status in the U.S. This workshop goes over understanding one’s constitutional rights when approached by law enforcement in different places. Learn how to read a warrant, avoid immigration fraud, develop a Family Emergency Plan and more.
